I Just Launched My First Digital Product in Over 3 Years! (Here’s how I finally finished it)
This wasn’t about checking a box. It was about proving to myself that I could show up, finish something meaningful, and offer it to the world without overthinking it to death.
For the first time in years, I completed and released a digital product: my Speak Life Affirmation Cards—a printable mindset tool for women rebuilding their lives.
And I’ll be honest… this project felt challenging.
Because finishing something that matters is an emotional experience. Especially when it’s been a while.
Why Now?
When I decided to return to YouTube, I made a promise to myself: I wouldn’t just post free content and burn out again.
I want to help as many people as I can, but I also want to build something sustainable. This time, that includes profit, without shame or pressure. That’s where this product came in. I wanted something simple but transformational. Something that reflects how I’ve grown and how I continue to grow.
What Almost Stopped Me
Designing the actual card deck almost took me out. I’m not a natural designer, and Canva felt like more of a challenge than a tool some days.
I had the affirmations. I had the prompts. But every time the formatting didn’t look right or the spacing got messy, I wanted to walk away. What helped me move forward was giving myself permission to take breaks when I felt overwhelmed, and then come back to it.
Over and over until I was finally done.
I eventually bought a template and modified it to make it my own. It still wasn’t easy, but it was possible, and that made all the difference.
What Shifted
The turning point was when I got out of my own head.
I remembered how affirmations had carried me through some of my lowest moments, including a season of depression while living in my parents’ basement.
I used to recite affirmations to myself while washing my face or applying lotion. Even when I didn’t fully believe the words yet, I showed up for myself.
That’s what I wanted these cards to become for someone else. A quiet support system. A daily return to self. I didn’t want fear or frustration to hold me back from completing something that could truly help another woman find her reset.
If You’re Starting Something and Keep Stalling
Here’s what I would tell you if we were sitting across the table:
1. Write it all down… then break it way down
Don’t try to build the whole vision in your head. Map it out on paper and break each section into steps so small that you can complete one in ten minutes. Momentum builds faster when you’re not overwhelmed by the big picture.
2. Get help. Use what’s available.
There are YouTube tutorials for almost anything. If you don’t know how to format a product, or build a sales page, or create a download link, that doesn’t mean you’re not capable. It just means you’re not supposed to do it alone.
3. Keep your “why” visible
When the tech gets frustrating or the process feels too slow, remember who you’re building it for. You and the women like you. The ones who need permission to grow gently. Those who don’t want to be inspired want something that helps them move forward.
I’m proof.
Want to See What I Created?
I turned that whole messy, meaningful process into something beautiful.
The Speak Life Affirmation Cards are now available — over 35 printable cards designed to reset your mindset and rebuild your confidence, one prompt at a time.
